Our Fort Lauderdale Remote Studio (servicing Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach County) is covering the fallout from Ferguson, Missouri where a grand jury decided not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of 18 year old Michael Brown. The decision sparked outrage in the Ferguson community and throughout the country as protest demonstrations have been staged in many cities nationwide. We welcomed back HOME, Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin and co-founder of the Trayvon Martin Foundation to share with us her prospective and insight as to the heartbreak that the parents of Michael Brown are experiencing now. It was less than two years ago that Trayvon Martin was tragically killed by George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida. Zimmerman was later acquitted by a jury in that case, although there is still an ongoing federal investigation by the U.S. Justice Department. Sybrina was live on CNN’s Erin Brunett Out Front to discuss the grand jury’s decision and to offer her unique perspective .
