FOX News legal panel discussion in the latest in the bizarre case of the embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford. FOX News’ Happening Now host, Jenna Lee, asks criminal defense attorneys Phil Snyder and Heather Hansen their respective takes on whether the mayor can and should be charged with a crime. Court documents show the mayor trying to buy what is alleged to be crack from suspected drug dealers. But as Phil Snyder points out, (in spite of the mayor’s admission that he bought crack) there is no actual physical evidence that the mayor bought crack as there is no drug for the authorities to run tests on. Hansen brings up the argument that possible obstruction of justice charges can be filed if the police can prove the mayor tried to get the tape in an effort to hide it as evidence.
